The First Wine Tasting School opens in Marbella

Every week wine lovers on the Coast will have the chance to learn a little about this passionate world whilst tasting wines from Spain and the rest of the world.

The Wine Academy has created a tasting school for wine lovers on the Costa del Sol. The main aim is to provide the opportunity to learn the wine tasting process and be able to taste wines from different regions in Spain as well as internationally known wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and California amongst others.
These tastings are catered to everyone regardless of level; from beginners to experienced wine tasters.

These courses, tastings and workshops will take place weekly in The Wine Academy’s tasting school situated in el Rosario, Marbella. Food and wine pairing will also play an important role in these weekly gatherings.

The tastings, conducted by international expert Pancho Campo, will last about 90 minutes and will feature between 10 and 12 wines. It will include the different phases of tasting a wine as well learning about the most important regions in Spain and the rest of the world. The courses offer different levels weekly depending on the level of the participants.
The Wine Academy will also offer different workshops, tastings of wine from around the world, tasting of some of the great wines of the world, private tastings, wine parties at home and corporate wine events.
